Wilmington Apple Reports Eight Police Union Endorsements for David Solet

Wilmington Apple reported that eight police unions endorsed David Solet for Middlesex District Attorney, building an early coalition of public-safety professionals who know his work firsthand.

Newton Police Superior Officers Association President John Claflin said David’s “commitment to victims stands out,” citing his ability to confront emerging threats and close gaps that put people in danger.

Cambridge Police Patrol Officers Association President Chris Sullivan said officers know David’s commitment to victims and to “helping us get it right,” including in the fight against illegal firearms.

The support reflects the kind of District Attorney’s Office David is running to build: prepared, collaborative, and ready to lead on the cases and reforms that keep Middlesex County safe.
